( TNI Information Center). Raider 100/PS Infantry Battalion Task Force is ready to carry out its mission and to be posted to the RI-PNG border area. This was a statement stated by the commander of Area Military Command I/Bukit Barisan, Maj. Gen. Irwansyah when he dispatched the deployment of Raider 100/PS Infantry Battalion Task Force at the Port of Belawan Harbor, Medan, North Sumatra, Saturday (6/27/2020).

The Raider 100 / PS Infantry Battalion Task Force under the leadership of Major Inf M Zia Ulhaq will embark using the Indonesian Warship (KRI) Banjarmasin-592.

Gen. Irwansyah advised that all soldiers of the Task Force always maintain the trust given by the state, because carrying out such duty is an honor and pride for TNI soldiers.

Border areas are vulnerable to any trans-national crimes such as drugs smuggling, arms smuggling or a deliberate illegal-shifting border by non-state actor. Therefore, all soldiers must always stay vigilant and always be prepared to carry out their duties in accordance with applicable procedures.
