Indonesian Air Force Chief Conveys the True Meaning of the Service Day for Air Force Soldiers

"The true meaning of the Indonesian Air Force Service Day is the willingness to make sacrifices, willingness to be an example, and to take part in pioneering efforts to ease the burden and difficulties of the people around us," conveyed the Chief of Air Force Staff Marshal TNI Fadjar Prasetyo, SE, MPP, in his mandate read by Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Marsma TNI Dr. Ir. Purwoko Aji Prabowo, MM, MDS, at the 73rd Commemoration Ceremony of the Air Force's Service Day at the 17th Air Squadron Apron Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Wednesday (29/7).


Furthermore, Kasau conveyed the events of 29 July 1947 bequeath to the next generation, the noble values of fighting spirit and sacrifice of the predecessors of the Air Force. "Despite living in a different era, the Air Force Soldiers today must be able to fight and serve in the same spirit. So that this historic act done by Air Force predecessors can be perceived as a motivation for the soldiers to devote themselves to the Nation and the State," said Kasau.


In another part Kasau also advocated, through the commemoration of the Indonesian Air Force's Service Day, by taking "Heroic Values on July 29, 1947", the Indonesian Air Force is committed to being ready to support the adoption of new customs towards Developed Indonesia. "For this reason, despite its simplicity, yet the 73rd Commemoration of the Air Force's TNI Day is full of the meaning of sacrifice and struggle of the Air Force's Soldiers in various humanitarian missions," advocated Kasau.
