Longki Djanggola, M.Sc., when releasing the Central Sulawesi Provincial Health Protocol Disciplinary Task Force and symbolically handing over social assistance to the community, at the Central Sulawesi Governor Office yard, Friday (11/09/2020).

The TNI Commander said that according to the Presidential Instruction to the TNI-Polri in Presidential Instruction Number 6 of 2020, the TNI-Polri supports the local government to carry out Health Protocol disciplinary activities by conducting a patrol in the community.

“The current condition is in green zone and would hopefully stay in the green zone. For this reason, the Indonesian National Armed Forces and the National Police, and the nation's component communities who are currently present, must jointly support the local government to maintain such good achievement in controlling the spread of Covid-19. Hence, the local economy would not be affected by the pandemic,” said the TNI Commander.

The TNI Commander also explained that the social services carried out by Babinsa, Babinpotmar, Babinpotdirga, Bhabinkamtibmas and the local community in an attempt to minimizing the Covid-19 local transmission have the objective to remind the people to keep wearing masks when they are outside the house, diligently washing their hands with soap on running water, always keeping the physical distance and avoiding the crowd.

In addition, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has not only caused health problems, but it has disrupted the economy of the affected community. For this reason, the TNI-Polri involving Babinsa, Babinpotmar, Babinpotdirga and Bhabinkamtibmas as well as the community components adhere to help the community to carry out disciplinary tasks as well as to provide social assistance to ease the burden on society amidst the pandemic.
