The Indonesian Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Yudo Margono, SE, MM, officially opened the 38th Command Post Rehearsal of Armada jaya 2020 (AJ) XXXVIII in virtual which was attended by 811 participants from the Navy Offices. The occasion was held in compliance with the Covid-19 health protocol at the Auditorium Detachment Navy HQ Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Monday (14/09/2020).
Previously, in a different place, through a video conference the Commander of the Indonesian Navy's Doctrine, Development Training and Education Command (Kodiklatal) RADM Nurhidayat, SH, as the Director of Training (Dirlat), delivered a report on the readiness for the 38th Armada Jaya Exercise which will be conducted on 14 to 22 September 2020 at the Sudomo Building, Kodiklatal Bumimoro, Surabaya, East Java.
This year, the Armada Jaya Post Rehearsal Exercise is carried out through E-Training by applying the steps of the Military Decision Making Process using the E-Post Rehearsal application which is the combination of a number of Navy Operations Plans including the Joint Maritime Operations, Amphibious Operation, Landing Administrative, Coastal Defence, Intelligence Support, Information Support Operation, Health Support Operations and Joint Special Force Support Operations.
In his mandate the Navy CoS explained that Armada Jaya Exercise is the Indonesian Navy top exercise which employs the components of the Integrated Fleet Weaponry Systems in the framework of the Joint Operations with the aim to measure the operational readiness of the strength and capability of all Navy components which are executed by all respective working units within the Indonesian Navy as well as to support the readiness for TNI joint operations.
