TNI Commander: PPRC Training Increases Soldiers’ Professionalism

(Puspen TNI). The Quick Response Task Force (PPRC) training is to increase the professionalism of TNI soldiers, and this year's training is under the guidance of the 2nd Division Infantry of Army Strategy Command in Malang, East Java.
As stated by the TNI Commander Marshal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto, S.I.P. in front of the media crew after witnessing firsthand the 2019 PPRC Preparedness Training of the TNI at Lanare Silas Papare Sentani, Jayapura, Papua, Wednesday (4/9/2019).
The TNI Commander stated that the 2019 PPRC TNI exercise was intended for PPRC Army Preparedness in Eastern Indonesia. "The training was held at Sentani and Wamena," he said.


The PPRC unit deployed troops from the Infantry Battalion 501 / Bajra Yudha in three drops from the C-130 Hercules Transport Aircraft in Sentani and in Wamena.
"The training was led directly by the 3rd Division Infantry Commander of Army Strategy Command Maj. Gen. Achmad Marzuki. Alhamdulillah everything went smoothly, safely and the objectives of this exercise were achieved, "said Air Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto.
On the other hand, the TNI Commander revealed that the current security conditions in Jayapura were safe and conducive. "Last night I and the National Police Chief monitored the situation in Jayapura," he said.
"If the conditions in Jayapura are safe and conducive, we will immediately carry out rehabilitation in Jayapura and all community and economic activities will be smooth," concluded the TNI Commander.

The TNI PPRC Training in 2019 with the theme "the 2nd Division Infantry Army Strategy Command conducting air passing operations in the Papua Region in the Context of Supporting the TNI's Main Tasks" aims to improve the capabilities and skills of the 2nd Division Infantry Army Strategy Command soldiers in carrying out air passing operations exercises successfully and efficiently.

The TNI PPRC exercise is also to test the revised operational plan concept as a result of the decision making process of the PPRC TNI Commander and Staff in order to anticipate and respond to possible contingencies arising in certain areas in accordance with the planned operational plan.
Also involved in accompanying the TNI Commander included the National Police Chief Gen. Prof. H.M. Tito Karnavian, Assistant Operations of TNI Commander Major General TNI Ganip Warsito, Assistant Territorial of TNI Commander Maj. Gen. George Elnadus Supit, Assistant Logistic of TNI Commander Air Vice Marshal Kukuh Sudibyanto, The 2nd Division Infantry Commander of Army Strategy Command Maj. Gen. Tri Yuniarto, Regional Military Command Commander XVII/Cendrawasih Maj. Gen. Joshua Pandit Sembiring, Commander Of The Main Naval Base XlII Brigadir (Mar) Nurri Andrianis Djatmiko, Commander of the Silas Papare Air Force Base Marsma TNI Tribowo Budi Santoso and Mayor of Jayapura Benhur Tommy Man.
