(Puspen TNI). The Indonesian Armed Forces personnel of the Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA CAR) XXXVII-G Task Force responded quickly to repair high-voltage electric towers in District 18 Ombella, Bangui City, Central African Republic, Monday (03/05/2021)

Previously, three electric towers collapsed due to a heavy rain with windstorm that hit the city of Bangui (27/04) and blacked out the city for several days.

Led by Lt. Czi Ariel Dian Prastyo, the 18 meters towers were successfully rebuilt by the Task Force personnel in collaboration with the Central African engineers from Energy Central Africa (ENERCA) using the mobile crane.

Regarding this incident, the Deputy Force Commander (DFC) Maj. Gen Maia Pereira Paulo Emmanuel highly appreciated the swift action of Kizi personnel to rebuild the collapsed towers and was able to manage the electricity crisis in District 18 Ombella, Bangui City.

"The three collapsed towers has caused the electricity supply in District 18 Ombella to be cut off, thus disrupting residents' activities for several days, nevertheless these problems can be resolved straightaway with the help of Kizi personnel thus all activities return to normal," claimed the General.
